Hi All, a testament to the high quality of Andy's tanks, i encountered oil at the end of sydney Motorsport park main straight on Saturday, and spun at~205kph then hit the concrete pit wall at ~180kph rear first, the tank was compressed and suffered a very small crack only and minor weep.

I'll be purchasing a new tank with new shell and chassis!

Cheers V

Hi,
A quick update. We are still making the fuel tanks to suit the Elans and +2 Elans and the picture below shows three Elan tanks that were about to be sent to the USA, Australia and France.

We would happily compare our tanks to any others and we are not VAT registered.

Link to Elan website page here http://axminsterspecialistpanels.com/in ... otus-elan/
Link to Elan +2 website page here http://axminsterspecialistpanels.com/in ... n-2-tanks/

We are happy to make variations to these designs, including ones to suit race cars (FIA applicable), and ones suitable for fuel injection.

Thanks.

Hi.

It;s been a little while since we have posted on here but we are still making the Lotus Elan and Elan +2 fuel tanks

We make these in various different forms (standard, fuel injected, and FIA race spec) to name but a few, and we are happy to post worldwide.

Here are some more up to date pictures of different tanks made to customers specifications.

The third picture shows the quality of our welding and as mentioned before, we would happily compare our tanks to any others on the market.

Unusually, we have managed to get a standard Lotus Elan tank in stock should anybody be interested!

Andy.
