Hello everybody and Seasons Greetings !

After an absence of a couple of years,I am soon (in the New Year) going to commission another batch of the popular wheel spinner tool that we started manafacturing back in 2009.
It will be exactly the same spec but pricing will have to reflect materials and manafacturing price increases.
I'm not sure how much yet but will post on here again when I have a clearer idea of customer interest etc...

So I can get a better idea of unit numbers to manafacture, perhaps you would'nt mind messaging or emailing me if you could be interested in purchasing ?

Many thanks

Hi Keith,
i think you will need to give some rough idea on the price
I mean £50,£75,£100,£150. I'm sure it's a nice bit of kit and will protect all those nice chrome spinners.

Hi Alan

This was my initial post back in March 2011 -

If anybody would like to purchase an Elan Wheel Spinner tool please either pm or email me,as I have several of these for sale.Brand new.£125 + £8.50 p&p (no vat) to UK mainland.I can ship worldwide - please contact me for rates.

These were featured in the July 2009 Club Lotus News and are a handy tool which locks on to the spinner allowing easy and safe loosening and tightening to the correct torque. No need for hammers and skinned knuckles or damaged wheels !

They're manafactured from aircraft grade aluminium, lightened and hard anodised with a chemi-blacked steel hex for use with a socket - 32mm and torque wrench - 200/220 ft lbs tightening setting (which are not supplied - you'll have to buy your own !).Also,if interested will need to know what wheels you have - i.e. Minilites,26R or Standard,as the Minilite tool is slightly different.

Over 70 sold now and no complaints so far ! Full money back refund if not entirely satisfied.

I'm happy to provide any further information required.

West Sussex,UK based.

I would guesstimate that each unit will come in at about £150 + postage, but I'll have to confirm this at a later date.

If you do a for sale forum search for "Wheel Spinner Tool" you will see some good feedback from happy customers !

Cheers
Keith

I have one of these.
Well worth the money.
It fits both the Standard and 26R 3 eared spinners

Archived material but .....

Received my spin-easy tool this morning so it was up into the shed to have a rummage in my old big tools. I used to be a hgv mechanic and dug out a 3/4" square drive 32mm socket and ratchet with a 4ft long exstened handle and gave it a go.
Guess what it works a treat, no more whacking with that ruddy hammer!
Well done Keith very pleased with the tool!

I have a Elan +2 with Minilites and an Elan coupe with standard factory steel wheels. Does one of your tool options fit both?

Thanks

Mike

I would be very keen to have on also, I'm a new Elan owner and very wary of the knock on/off spinners.
Are they available now. ?
