Does anyone know where I can buy a set of copper/nickle brake pipes in the UK for my sprint ?......or do I have to make them up myself ?

Many thanks

Chris

Hi Chris

Have you tried Sue Miller? She is only up the road from you.

Thanks Jason - I will check but I think Sue only sells the pipe and ends to make up your own.

I was just looking for an easy solution but if no one is doing the pipes already made up to the correct lengths then I will have to make up my own

cheers
Chris

Just re plumbed my Plus 2 - pipe and fittings from Sue and borrowed a flaring tool. Total cost around £25 for materials and a really satisfying job to do.

I think it's better if you are able to cut and shape the pipes exactly as you want them.

Try Spyder, they used to sell complete sets & stainless Steel braided Hoses as well.

I got a super set for my S4 rebuild, copper nickel set, plus braided hoses for brakes and clutch, 3 and 4 way connectors & fluid all from Automec. See www.automec.co.uk

I used automec when I replumbed the car during a chassis change back in the '80s. No problems at all since. Just wish I could find the flaring kit I bought at the time but it doesn't seem to have survived two house moves.

I purchased a great flaring tool from Europa spares. It comes highly recommended. I will get a chance to use it soon as I am re-plumbing the TVR Vixen that I am restoring.
