Front sidelight

PostPost by: saildrive2001 » Tue Jul 21, 2009 8:17 pm

I need a new front sidelight lens for my S4. This is the one that is a quater turn to lock it in place. It doesn't have any chrome trim strip around it. Anyone have one or a source?

I sourced several Lucas lenses from lotsofclassic bits too.
Very pleased with the product, price & service.

Hmmm,

That link didn't work for me.
Nor did an ebay search using "lotsofclassicbits"

Regards,
Stuart.

Neither links worked for me either & the lights on the site that Paddy got aren't the correct ones.
The site that bcmc33 suggested does seem to show the correct unit except mine & others that I have seen don't have the chrome ring on them. I'm just wondering if that is required to hold the lens in place. My original ones have two slots in the flange of the lens which mate with two tabs on the body & then you turn the lens approx 90degs. to lock it in place.

Hi Keith,
from what I know, the Lucas L658 with the chrome trim is the correct item fitted from S1 to Sprint.
The trim piece is a push fit on the clear lens hiding the bayonet fitting-but easily removed if you choose to do so!
