Weight of diff

Can anyone tell me the weight of a rear diff with output shafts and no oil?
I have had a request to give a quote to send one to california.

Hi Chris

I just weighed a complete diff from a S3 with output shafts and the prop flange, the bathroom scale indicated 45 Lbs. or around 20 kgs.

Chris,

The FedEx scale said 49.15 lbs for the complete package I just shipped. I think my scale said the bare diff was 46.1 lbs, this is a S4 with 3.55
