Which colour again!

PostPost by: jono » Thu Dec 30, 2010 2:49 pm

I started a thread on this a couple of months ago but couldn't find it :?

Anyway I need to make a fnal decision on colour in the next few weeks as my car is progressing at the bodyshop. I had settled on Weedgwood blue but have harboured the nagging doubt that it is, well, not grey enough

This Jag looks exactly the colour I imagine my car to be when finished - could anyone hazard a guess as to the colour (of course it may not be a Jag colour):

Jon
That E Type is 'Light Blue', and in reality it's a lot more baby blue than shown in the picture.

Stick to Wedgewood....looks perfect on the Plus 2 !!!

A few pics for you.

My Wedgewood blue nearest to the camera and French blue next to it. My favourite colour is the Burnt Sand it is very 1960/70's.

Let me know what other colours you are thinking of I may have pics of them.

Wedgewood is actually quite a "grey" blue. I had my Seven (wedgewood) next to a TR4 in my workshop which was finished in Powder blue and the difference was very noticeable.

Go with Wedgewood.

Many thanks for all your valued responses guys!

I have decided that it has to be Wedgwood Blue!

Dusty - you may recall our chat at the NEC when I was admiring your lovely Wedgwood Seven. It certainly looked gorgeous in that colour and, yes, it looked a nice blue grey as opposed to a powder blue (which I don't want).

Your car pretty much made up my mind until I had a loss of faith which, happily, has now been restored as a result of these responses.

Thanks again chaps. No turning back now!
