Fed S2. A "Bumpy Ride" ?.

PostPost by: Fredtech » Mon Dec 31, 2018 12:47 pm

This Fed S2 appears to have most of the original bits for a full restoration, new dash and other parts could be easily sourced.

Not bad value at the moment. (Until we Brexit off course and its £1.00 = $0.50 cents)

Anyone know why there are "Bumps" on the front of the Cam-Cover ?.

Look like they might be some sort of breather add-on.

Sellers feedback is nothing special and nothing about whats underneath. I'd like insight from the community!

Jon is right. Breathers added to the cam cover to reduce pressure buildup within the engine.

Kurt

The vendor is a reasonable fellow who sells quite a few Lotus parts as a side line to his main activity.

This car looks very good value to me.

Contact me by PM if you need any help.

If you look at his listings he also has a complete (but expensive) Elan steering rack.
