Hello John,

does this mean the end of Lotus ownership once the Plus 2 has gone? (or do you have another Lotus car?)

Mark
I'm not getting any younger, crawling out of low slung cars is not getting any easier,a 2.0 Zetec engine is £250 and has more low end torque than a twincam ( and is oil tight to boot ),From my youth riding a 650cc BSA I have not been a fan of high revving anything ( especially Japanese ),I will miss the roadholding and the sleek design ( elbow out of the window at 80mph chatting to the passenger ),but I'm just not sporty anymore etc etc etc

Just watch out for that old grey Morris Minor on your tail.....

John

P.S. While I'm having a moan I'm not a fan of oncoming traffic with ( maybe ) badly adjusted headlights..

And John, when you start that Morris Minor thread somewhere (and you know that you will  ) give us the link please. I've always thought a Minor sleeper would be great fun, be it the coupe, wagon, or truck.

My brother had a late 50's Hillman panel wagon with a small block Chevy V8 as a project car in early the seventies. It started life as a grocery delivery truck. Great fun. :D

We've never been to Tatton as a private entry,so all I can think is that one year right behind my ear was a generator running ( unsilenced) and it was "doing my head in" as they say,so I got up and moved to somewhere quieter...
