I agree. Not on here please.
It's curious to read all the responses, I can tell this is not a Porsche 911 . net thing. because they would never have this problem. Maybe we need a few rules? But then would this site be less fun? YES! How could it be more fun?

What are the Porsche 911.net rules? That you're not allowed to call it a squashed Nazi staff car? If "Baby Elan' is the most derogatory monicker to be bandied around for my car then I'm quite pleased with that!

I don't think usage of the term Baby is derogatory or intended as any sort of insult. My problem with it is that it's just meaningless and incorrect and one our functions on here should be to inform and educate. :)

Off topic but I did have a baby seat in my S2 for my daughter, fitted centrally on the top of the diff 'Y'.

It came out when her legs started to interfere with my gear changing!

You should get dressed before you drive the car ...

I had an ex sister-in-law who used to change her clothes while driving

Don't worry about off topic, I'm not precious about it  :)

We had a speaker at our CL branch meeting last month by a Lotus aficionado well known to some on this forum through his annual open day - and to the delight of one of the members, said that the M100 was the best road Lotus he has ever driven.

My missis had an M100 for 3 years, doing 40,000 miles in it. The car is fantastic to drive, with little hint of it being front wheel drive. Its handling is just stunning.

They have bullet proof mechanics and superb glassfibre that does't seem to give the problems of the old fibreglass bodies, and they can be bought for peanuts. I'm sure that situation will change though. A chum recently bought one for ?2k, and he loves it to bits. His other cars include a couple of Elites, a 30, an 11, a Seven, an Esprit Turbo....and quite a few more! If you like Lotii, you will love an M100.

Seeing as the alleged baby was born before the mother or father seems rather unlikely

"Baby" sounds like a smaller version of the best, or correct, one.
First came across it years ago, ( pre Interweb), in a Christopher Neil catalogue.
Took a while to figure out what the hell he was on about......
