New Lotus Elan owner and member

Folks -

I just purchased a ?67 Elan S3 DHC (convertible) that I?ll be picking up next week. It?s been parked for the last 15 years and is original, so I?m looking forward to getting my hands dirty in order to put it back on the road. Hope to see some of you at local cars and coffee type shows. I?m in Reston, VA.

That paint job looks familiar, I seem to remember a similar looking car once owned by one of our other members (Pete Taylor?).

The name is not familiar to me. I purchased it from a guy in Maine who acquired it from his aunt and uncle in Vermont. I don?t have history beyond that yet. It is a RHD car so it was imported as some point. I?m hoping to discover its full history eventually.
