ZS (emission) carbs Thackery washers

I am attaching the newly rebuilt Zenith Stromberg carbs to my 1969 Elan +2 (U.S. emissions). I have new Thackery washers which appear to be of slightly thicker steel and they require more force to yield than the original washers.
I am also using a MSA21042-5 extended washer self locking nut. Low height.
Will the new Thackery washers with higher compression tension be a problem? Should I reuse the original Thackery washers?
I am readying the car for sale. Anyone interested please contact me.
