Throttle Pedal Return Spring

I'd forgotten how to reinstall my factory hairpin Throttle Return Spring, found several threads on that. It'd be good imo for the throttle pedal itself to have a return spring, so figured out a simple way to install one, Just drill one small hole in the bracket above the throttle pedal and install the spring--done. Here's a couple photos of the install. I couldn't find exactly the correct spring needed pre-bent, so obtained one close and re-bent the ends to suit.

Also, just for reference, here's a picture of the factory position for the hairpin spring. The foreground attach point for the spring is a little out of focus, it was clearer to have the lower attach point sharply in focus.
