hi there could someone please tell me where I will find the vin no and chassis no on my s3 elan fixed head many thanks steve

On the carb side on chassis top close to engine mount.

There is an aluminum VIN plate, about 3 in x 5in, mounted on top of the horizontal firewall on the exhaust side of the engine bay, right in front of the voltage regulator.

The chassis number is also stamped into the top surface of the frame, just in front of the engine mount on the carb side and this should match the number on the plate.
