Another hood (DHC) question..

It was another hoot topic (S3 DHC hood - experience and recommendations) which got me started..

On Elans with door window frames, should the Elan hood have rubber around the edges where it meets the door frame? If so do any of the 'usual' hood providers (Sue, Paul Matty) provide hoods like this? My current (oldish) hood just has ordinary hood fabric at the edge which leads to TOH complaining of cold wind going down her neck!!

My original hood had rubber around the window frames and the Sue Miller replacement does not but there is ZERO wind intrusion.

Thanks Greg, that's good news, I will probably order a hood from Sue when she gets them back in stock, although warmer weather makes fitting hoods a lot easier...
Are Sue's hoods grey or black inside, I gather the original hoods were grey, although I don't ever remember seeing a hood which was not black all over..?

Sue's hood is gray inside. I liked that; lightened up the interior just a bit. Don't forget it's all for naught if the installation is not proper.

I have a Hood (top) from Robbins tops, this side of the pond and it has rubber as the original around the window openings. Still doesn't keep out the moisture as well as I'd like, but not drafty at all.
