I just bought foil backed (one side) cotton insulation from local auto upholstery shop here in Austin. It's slight thinner than the Lotus felt.
It seem similar stuff is available from the HW stores. I've used some of the basically silver bubble wrap on my house, only place I'd use it on the lotus would be above the headlining more to reduce heat than noise.
