S4 FHC Carpet

Hi All,

I'm making up the carpet set for the S4

I have a print out of the diagram that someone posted here about a decade ago and I have the carpets that were fitted.

The problem is the back board between the seats and the boot.

1. Elan manual shows one arrangement

3. Old carpet doesn't fit

Can anyone show me pictures of what it should look like?
I have searched the internet but looking at black carpet doesn't show anything!

Hi AHM

There is a difference in this area between the DHC and FHC. Looking at the rdent drawing you need items 15, 16, 17. for your FHC. The corresponding carpet for the DHC is item 14.

It is confusing that they put both carpets on the same drawing.

I think that the inside of the tub behind the seats is carpetted on the FHC but there is an additional millboard panel on the DHC which is proud of the rear face of the tub.

Does this help or are you asking about the hole between the rear struts?

Hi Mike,

Agreed 15,16, and 17 are what I'm looking at, but that is different from the CAD drawing that is circulating for the FHC.


With a bit of lateral thinking I searched for roll bars, thinking this may show me details of the appropriate area.

Rohan's car looks like it has original carpet and is the same as the parts manual - So I think I'll go with the parts manual.
