Just thought I would post to sat that Len has just made a lovely job of my steering wheel - a true craftsman and a perfect gent.

Quick turn around, reasonable price and a top, top job. Could not recommend him highly enough.

No relation, just a very satisfied customer 8)

Same here. Len did an amazing job on my wheel too, and four years later it's only getting better looking with a bit of use.

What price did he charge for re-covering the wheel? And any photos of a newly restored item available?

Thanks,

I received this back from Len when I inquired in May:

"Thank you for your email, the cost for a new black leather cover hand stitched is ?120. new hand stitched leather thumb pads are ?8 each x3 =?24. If your wheel needs new rubber moulding under the rim cover the cost is ?50.

At the moment the turn-around time to restore your wheel would take about a week. "

Another shout out to Len on a lovely job on my steering wheel. Chuffed to bits with it. My rim had snapped and had a leather trim put on. Very reasonable price too
