Paint for my lotus elise

PostPost by: BobSamuel54 » Fri Aug 18, 2017 3:31 pm

Hello all, im looking to purchase some "burnt orange" paint for my Elise as i need to do some touch ups due to some scratches on the rear bumper. I am in need of this paint in a rush as i am leaving to go away in a few weeks and would like to sort it out quickly. I haven't purchased paint online before, i found this company selling car paint and was wondering if anyone had used them before?

Any info appreciated,
Bob.

Any decent Auto paint shop will be able to help you as long as you have the paint code etc. I'm sure a Lotus dealer will sell you some touch up but from experience i don't trust any paint that's standard shade (ideally you want the correct variant of your colour).

The auto paint shops are a source as noted and now even make up spray cans of color-coded paint but I have also used paint scratch.com and maybe that was the one you were trying to reference which did not come through, and the paint match their using the code was also excellent. Gordon Sauer

Bet you can pick up from the parts counter at Hexagon.

Chris Neils ie Oakmere are excellent. They repaired my daughters Starlight Black Elsie S2, perfect job after an idiot open a door onto the fron clam as she was driving by. Ask for Paul Anderson.... tell him Mark Kelly recommended you ;)

I used paints4U on line for touch up paint for my RGB Exige, they were recommended to me by two independent Lotus dealers. I was very pleased with the product, perfect colour match and easy to apply.
