Restoring dull paintwork

What is the best product and technique to use on this faded body? Is good old T-Cut the answer?

A soft g mop on a polisher and farecla g30 compound

Or TCut and a two cloths. One on and one off...

Might be beyond saving, the boot lid looks a different colour to the rest of the car. Your best chance migh5 be a professional machine polish. You can?t be too far from Chris (Grizzly on here). - maybe he could give it a try?

That's a nice patina ... ! you don't see it on cars much nowadays apart from ratty veedubs

Difficult to tell from the picture but that looks like Cellulose so original T-cut + elbow grease is the best option, G3 and 3M green top would bring it up but in my opinion it would remove too much paint in the process.

It depends on what you want to achieve, when it gets as oxidised as that you will have to keep on top of it or it will be just as bad in twelve months or so. You can prolong it a bit by using ph neutral washes and researching the wax you use carefully as some of the more solvent waxes don't get on well with Oxidised direct gloss (will send it milky almost on contact).

Is your car Bitter Green?
