S4 Seat clamp bolt size?

Hi all,
Just having a bit of a issue with the S4 seat clamp bobbin's in the floor.
I have been through my bolt draws and the only bolt that seems to start in the thread is a Metric?? (which can't be right) i can only assume with the seats being out for the last 30 years the threads have corroded or full of crud and could do with a tap running through.... So the problem is i can't seem to find the thread size/type anywhere.
Looking down the bobbin with a torch i'd guess it's 3/8 unc but when i try a bolt it isn't having it. I also assume the Bobbin is threaded and isn't just a plain with a Nut under the floor? and what looks like threads are witness marks??
So i thought i'd ask before making a complete balls up of it or breaking a tap off in a bobbin (which wouldn't be ideal).

Can't speak for a non-Federal model, but during that time period all seatbelt retaining bolts were 7/16-20 here in the US. This included all imports. My August 1972 Plus2 130S are the same.

Sorry no not seat belts, i'm after the Seat clamp-bobbin bolt size, the clamp that fixes the seat to the floor.

Just happened to have my S4 (Federal) seats out.
The bolt for the front clamps that goes into the bobbin is 3/8 x 1.25 long UNC.
