Side stripes - Fixing

Just started to fit the Sidewinder decals using soapy water and string line, all going well, but;
I read on the Forums that it's best to extend the cut ends around the bodywork, doors, etc. so as not to have them lift when cleaning, or when the car gets used in wet weather, which seems like a good idea here in UK.
But find in most instances this creates a "double curvature" in the decal, and it's difficult to get a secure fit ?
Anybody got any "tricks of the trade" they could share with me, to ensure the graphics are well stuck both just before "turning the corner" and again on the return please?
How do we fix the ends, as the adhesive does not appear very strong by the looks of it, and the returns aren't always as flat as the general areas for the glue to grab ?
Is it a case of Superglue, etc, on the returns to ensure they remain in place?
Any advice welcomed, as ever.
Regards,
Phil.

Plenty of graphics fitting vids on YouTube. I think they only recommend a mist of weak soapy water but that is to allow some repositioning if you aren't quite in the right place. No need for soapy mix on the returns I'd say try holding them in place with masking tape for 24 hours before anything more radical. I've not heard yet of anyone else having this issue.

Steve,
No issues here, just wanting to fit them as best as possible.
I haven't done it before, so just wanted to check I was doing it right !
I got phone advice last night from one of the members, did the job to- day with decent results.
Well pleased with the Sidewinders you supplied.
I used an heat gun to warm up the cut ends and help the stick down process, heat also helped getting the correct fit and shape into the rear bumper recess.
I'll post some pics. as soon as my Apple devices sinc !
Best regards,
Phil.
