Is it the correct part for sprint under the dash? I have one with different bracket that has two holes for switches.

On my Sprint the bonnet pull is on the dashboard. You can see it in my photo below the oil/water gauge.

Don't some Sprints have steering locks and some don't? Could that possibly have some bearing?

My '72 car has a steering lock and the bonnet pull was in the dash.

My old S4 elan had an under bonnet dash bracket like the one posted but it had the second hole which was for the hazard warning switch. Quite a rare thing to be honest. It came out of the factory as a bog standard S4 but had Chapman Wheel, Servo, Hazard flashers and one or two others bits and bobs.

My Sprint has the dash pull.

cheers

I have the early S4-Sprint (S4 se retrofitted by the factory to Sprint spec) it has the Key on the dash and Bonnet pull on the right of the steering column (fixed by a bracket) but the bracket doesn't look like that one? and the original pull knob just has 'Bonnet' written in white on it.

(please note i fitted an Aftermarket cable as my original was fitted in the original position across the bulkhead and had kinked by the drivers catch so didn't want it failing)

Umberto,

My car an early standard S4 from 1968, has the same bracket as that shown in the photograph from Grizzly. My replacement dashboard has hole in the board for the bonnet release!
