S4/sprint door lock and receiver I.D.

Hi Lads,
A friend of mine is restoring a lotus elan sprint and on stripping the car the door lock receivers had to be cut off the body. Can anyone shed any light on what other car these were fitted to! It is quite urgent as he is at the point were the doors have to go back on to get the fit right before she goes in for painting. Any help much appreciated.

But it the lock on the door is the part he is after. Sorry for not been clear . I have worked out that they are from the Austin maxi. Anyone have a maxi lying around.

I think you need part number 3, if you are working on a S4 or 3, and part 19 if an earlier model. You should post in the wanted section, I'm sure someone has an extra pair. Good Luck Allan

That part and the striker plate are both the same as classic Mini. I bought some recently from a classic Mini specialist who regularly advertises on Ebay . The screws come with the plates too.

Thanks Nigel, good info. I just googled some Classic Mini suppliers and found them under this part number CZH3528/9. The 8/9 designates if it's right of left. Brand new the prices are about $55 USD in the UK and $72 USD in the states. Also used ones for $22 USD. Also found lots of them on ebay.uk, onlly one on the US site. I'm sure Nev will find this part easily. Thanks again Allan
