Had to fit mine last summer. I do have a pic below of somebody else's, but the advice is to put some needle-thin thing thru the headliner and poke around to find the big hole, the spring goes in. Knowing where that is, you should be able to probe and find the two screw holes.

Photos taken prior to fitting headlining on my Jan 1968 +2.
You should be able to find the large hole for the shaft / spring with your finger and as stated above, use a needle to find small holes.
It helps to mark the needle hole, much more visible than a needle hole.
