Hello everyone. I am happy to report that my 1969 Lotus Elan S4 SE will run again, after more than 20 years in storage. I bought it about 2 years ago, with body in poor shape, but good chassis, with Twincam having been replaced by Ford pushrod and Weber downdraft. Stromberg head is still at the machine shop but I intend to use the car as is for while. All fibreglass has been professionally redone and resprayed in Sprint colours, Colorado orange no less. Interior was OK, I replaced only the crashpad. More pictures are available on Flicker: https://www.flickr.com/photos/107662494 ... 750084294/

I certainly look forward driving it a lot this summer. Happy motoring to all!

Claude

well done, that's what they were made for driving.
I have a Sprint and imho i think the wheels could look better in black with the chrome wheel trims. It's only my opinion.
Happy driving

Look like you have done good work.

Any under bonnet pictures would be interesting, and a change from all these twin cams!
