First registered in Bristol but now in East Anglia.

Sold in kit form (apparently to a Mr B Hanning, not C Veals!) having left the production line at the then new Hethel on 10th August 1967. It now has large wheel arches to suit 185 Wolfrace Slot Mags. It has a Cheshunt VIN plate: they were clearly using them up.

If you wish Charles, I can put you in touch with the current owner.

Hello Tim.

Thanks for your interest. I would be very pleased if you would put me in touch with the current owner.

I have no idea who Mr. B. Hanning is. I built this Elan from a kit and handled the first registration. The only thing I can think of is that he was something to do with the Lotus dealership where I bought the car. This was Rob Walker whose showroom was between Frome and Warminster (near Longleat).

Regards, Charles
