Hi, I am in the process of importing a 1962 (Think?) Elan from California.
As it is Right Hand Drive, I presume that it must have been registered in the UK once in its life.
I would love to find out its History, Original Reg etc
Can anyone point me in the right direction

welcome Darren When you have the chassi number you can contact Lotus cars and for a fee ( I believe) they maybe able to help you. They have a department that deals with this kind of thing

Thanks for your prompt replies, I have sent an email to Lotus and await a reply, I'll Keep you informed.
A friend who lives in the USA is sorting out all the shipping etc and as soon as I have some pictures I'll post them.
Does anyone have any advice on what I need to do to make it all UK Legal? MOT, Tax etc.
