more then one type of sun visor?

Is there more then one type of sun visor for a FHC, apart from some having a vanity mirror and some not? I sold my pair on ebay (see the for sale section here for other sites) and the buyer is telling me they aren't for an elan coupe. I sent him a photo of them in my car so we'll see, plus another ebay listing of identical visors (271965471074), plus asked him to search this site for examples. We'll see how he responds.

I've obtained a large cache of parts from the estate of a retired Ford Service Manager. They been stored in his basement for a good 35 years or so. Most of these parts are Elan, Europa and some Italian stuff thrown in. There are a pair of sun visors with a tag (he tagged most everthing) and the part number attached is for the lh side of a S3 or S4. 36B B 0839

What's interesting , per the parts manual, is that it is NOT applicable to a S3 Super Safety but the rh side
is. It's part number is 36 B 0840.

Not saying that the tag attached is proof positive but it certainly leans that way.

I have found recently that while the visor is the same between FHCs & DHCs the sun visor brackets are completely different. Your brackets are 100% for the FHC.

Early (S3 & some S4) FHC visors were white & the parts list indicates multiple part numbers; while late S4 & Sprint Visors are black.

What does your buyer say is wrong? Your photo on eBay was clear enough & the selling price was a bargain...
