Next one in line....

I just picked this one up at the Lotus dealership in Greenville NC. It was owned by a professor at Clemson University. Sat in an open carport since 1984. Needs a little work.......

NC or SC? Clemson is in SC...

Congrats Zog, I look forward to seeing the restoration; For a minute I thought you had bought the flying car from Ontario.

Salut Zog

Yes, please post resto pics - especially if you're the guy who wrote the little Europa saga book.

I look forward to following the progress of your latest resto, zog. Your photojournals have been a good tonic for me when progress on mine seems to be going nowhere fast. Robert

Could be my tainted eye, but it looks more Lilac than Pink to me. Either way, that looks to be a great project.

Looks like another book to be written ?

Bought and enjoyed the Europa saga, so many similarities to my own efforts over the years

Looks crusty but pretty complete. The wheels seem odd but it may be just the way the photo is. One key question......:

What's in the bottle ??

Thanks to those who have bought and enjoyed my book Europa Euphoria. I have another book available on Amazon titled The Lotus Cortina Shooting Brake.

As to what's in the bottle.... Michelob Amber Bock... inside a beer coozie that came with the car from the Greenville Lotus dealer.

The Lotus dealer also happens to have a 1975 Lotus ?clat that sat next to this Elan for many years. Supposedly the first ?clat sold in the US? Not for me.....
