Sprint Development Car on a "H" ??

That damage is a shame. With the history of the car being what it is and being so original I?d avoid a total respray and do the bare minimum to get it looking nice again - repaired in cellulose as original. Maintaining as much of the original patina and parts will add hugely to the value of the car even if that?s not your intention!

Why not have a word with Paul Mason (formerly of SMS Autospray and I believe now working at Spyders premises in Peterborough) and see what he thinks. There are few better than him.

If it were my car, I would do just as Steve indicates above.

Remember, a car is original only once!

David, I have details of LML 162K and LML 164K on my Sprint register, both supplied originally by Bell & Colvill, which will have been where your late father bought the car from too, around April 1972, I'd wager.

Talk about thread creep... May I suggest you start a new thread?
