S1 dash toggle switches

Hello, is the correct securing nut for the S1 Elan dash toggle switches hexagonal or circular? I seem to have both types on mine.

Also, where would you recommend sourcing for the correct version? Thank you.

I can't find it on the site but I think I remember a discussion about it here. As I remember it, early cars had the hex nuts but there was a transition to circular at some point; not sure when.

Plenty of other British cars of the period had similar switches so I found various used original switches available on Ebay with the hex nut.
