Disappointed

I posted the picture below some time ago and normally people on here are eagle eyed and point out any errors or potential problems, I missed it and so did everyone else!
Two of the gauges are in the wrong place! Only realised when trying to get the wiring harness to fit neatly, once I swopped the temperature and oil pressure gauges over it connected up much neater!
While I?m at it, what should fit in the lower hole between the speedo and rev counter, my original dash didn?t have a hole there.

Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine!

In the middle of the dash yes, but he's talking about the little hole between the tacho and speedo - underneath the handbrake light. I've seen heated screen lamps there too...

the extra hole is mostly a blue (with chrome surround) light, heated rear window. my replacement dash has the extra hole.. my OE (68 +2) doesn't.
sorry for the disappointment, but I too was dazzled by the tiger stripes

There has already been a bit of discussion about this lotus-chassis-f36/extra-hole-new-dash-t16043.html

Thanks all, I?ve decided to fit an oil pressure warning light there, red lamp fitting on order.
Can finish the dash wiring now, just doing the mods for a volt meter, electric screen wash pump and now the oil warning light. Also a spot lamp switch in the original pod raising switch location and a signal wire for the electric motor that now operates the pods. Then I can reinstall the dash, major milestone!

I have an ignition light there for some reason, can?t think why as there?s an ignition light in the speedo. The light above and between the tacho and speedo is a shift light, once again I can?t think why, if you have no mechanical sympathy perhaps it might be useful?
The dash does look lovely, well done!

You could use the hole for a light to show when the Electric Cooling Fan is on to stop panic in summer traffic

If I?m stuck in traffic I can hear when the fans come on!
