Federal Sprint Indicators - enigma

Hi All,
I have a 1972 Federal Sprint that I am rewiring. I got the wipers, windows, heater fan, headlights, interior light and dash lights to work. I even got the hazard lights to flash. I just can not get the indicator lamps to work at all. I purchased new flashers for the indicators and hazards, so that is not it. I have not tested the DB10. I get nothing, no sounds from the indicator flasher and no lights when the indicator stalk is in the right or left turn positions.
Any thoughts?
Jay S.

If you got the hazard lights to flash, front and rear, then it sounds like it may be in the turn indicator or turn indicator wiring to the DB10 relay. Plus, if you are trying to test the turn indicators with the hazard flasher on, the hazard flasher overrides the flasher circuit.

Could be. Here's a nifty chart, about the third page down. I found it to be quite helpful. I'm assuming
your dashboard is not in yet, while you're testing. Changing it out with the dashboard mounted is
probably the worst job on a Federal Sprint. Took me a good 4 days, so make sure it's working before
final mounting.

I recently had a similar problem with my Plus 2. My car pre-dates the DB10, but after tracing the voltage I found that the problem was a wire-break inside the insulation, adjacent to a connector where the wire from the indicator-switch connects to the main harness. Don?t rule out stuff like this.
