indicator failure

On the way back from CC, my indicators stopped working. The hazard switch activates all four lights. Am I right in assuming it must be the indicator switch on the steering column which is at fault or is there another possible explanation?
It looks as though new indicator switches are available e.g. from Holdens.
Good to meet some of you at CC - what a great turnout from the +2 fraternity.

The hazards and indicator have seperate flashers on my +2S130/5, so could be the indicator flasher or wiring.
When mine stopped working the wire had simpley come of the flasher. Flasher is screwed to dash just under the speedo.
