Routing of wiring loom to rear of car

Does the cable loom to the rear lights, etc follow a path over the top of the left hand turret on an S4 Elan. Also, the other end in the passenger footwell area, does it run behind the side trim panel and up over the top of the metal horizontal strut before joining up with the other cables?

Yes to both questions in my car. The number plate lights on the boot lid are plugged in on top of the turret.
