Spare good distributor or coil for sale?

funny you say that, it was pointed out i didn't add a new power supply to my Tacho when i did the RVC conversion, the power came from the 12v power 'B Battery' of the voltage stabiliser 100% (on my 2 seater).

Ah you took it from the INPUT to the stabaliser.

To an electrical/electronic engineer like wot I was trained as, the phrase "from the ..equipment" generally means taking from the OUTPUT of the equipment. Hence the confusion.

I have a 41189 distributor on the shelf which I've not used but looks like it's in good condition. You're welcome to collect it and use it for as long as you like.

That is a very kind offer Paddy. I'm about to try a new electronic setup, if that does not work out I shall revert to points and will be in touch.
