What's it for?

Hi all,
I know this fits somewhere under the dash of my S130, but where and supports or holds what?? Any ideas or pointers please.

I believe it bolts to the pedal box reinforcing plate and supports the lower end of the handbrake assembly. Mine was missing and I have had to make something similar, there are pictures on another strand I started about the steering column supports. I'll try to find the photos if you can't find the strand on it.

Try this, should be a link to the parts for the pedal box and handbrake assembly, shows your part clearly.
