Travelling to south Florida soon and was wondering if there are any "interesting stops" for a Lotus enthusiast?

Thanks,

There's Wire Wheel Classics in Vero Beach who specialize in selling both vintage and modern Lotus cars. - http://www.wirewheel.com/LOTUS.html

There's also the first Formula E (electric F1-type cars) race of the season through the streets of downtown Miami on March 14th. - http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/downtown-miami/article3179148.html

And there's the Miami Auto Museum at the Dezer Collection, which I believe has (or had) one of Emma Peel's Elans. I've never been there, but it seems to get good reviews. - http://www.dezercollection.com/museums/european-classics-museum/

Parkhaus 1, on US 1 in Miami, specializes in vintage Porsche, but it looks like a cool place. They recently opened, and Emerson Fittipaldi posted a few photos of his visit there on FB. Emmo has a place on Key Biscayne. http://www.parkhaus1.com/

According to their website, they still do have one of Emma Peel's Elans at the Miami Auto Museum, the 1966 Blue one - http://www.themiamiautomuseum.com/inventory.php?search

If you're driving there, I'm about 5 mi off I-95 in central Fl. My SS dhc is here and I'm restoring my pre-airflo FHC, that will eventually go back to Ohio.

Hello Randy,
If you make it to the southwest side of the state plan a visit to the Revs Institute in Naples, FL. One of the finest collections of classic & race cars in the states (Collier Collection). They were honored several years ago at the Lime Rock Historic weekend.

Thanks, Charlie, for that tip. What an awesome museum and collection. Would love to go and we drive right by it. Unfortunately, it's only open Tu, Th, Saturday and - you guessed it - we drive through Naples this Friday!

Roger, I'm here! Where are you?? We're heading north from Ft Lauderdale tomorrow . . .
