That looks very impressive. Do they have a black room, a red / gold room and a green room? And of course the odd lots for the yellows and blues!

Workshop downstairs and cars not being worked on are upstairs including yellow Camel cars and Gold Leaf coloured Type 49.

The dual NACA ducts in the bonnet of 6 SME reveal this Elite to be No. 1255, the 2 liter FPF-engined special that was intended for the 1960 LeMans but never actually started. Interesting that it is now at Classic Team Lotus. Registration 6 SME is one of those that seems to have been passed around within Lotus. Both Elites 1007 and 1255 carried this number, perhaps a few more. OK, enough anorak behavior from me for tonight.

ceiling height makes me claustrophobic. of course i'm 6'6", but looks like i'd be hitting my head on the lights? i keep forgetting we Americans are a taller breed compared to my counterparts across the pond.

I didn't realise that fact. I thought it was only Americans waistlines that were larger ? !!!
