I love Green Cars

How is it that after a week, this thread has only attracted seven Lotus cars? Should it be construed from this that green is not a popular colour or that owners of green cars are particularly coy?
For those that need reminding, green is a very appropriate colour for a Lotus, as there was a time before all the promotional livery nonsense when Team Lotus cars only appeared in green, with an optional yellow strip and optional yellow wheels.
So for those coy owners and others who seek originality and want to be true to the Lotus marque, green is OK!

My S2 is the same green as Mark030358's car, but with steel wheels and love it.

I'm actually not too fond of green cars, but that's what I have. I'm also not wild about the yellow stripe, but the previous owner advised keeping it so that the car stood some chance of being visible to other drivers. Judging by the surprised looks I sometimes get, it was good advice.
One day I may re-paint it but there are other items on the to-do list that need to be done first. According to Andy Graham it was yellow when it left Hethel. And I'm very partial to Lagoon Blue.

Nick,
Is that the car from Hawaii on Bring a Trailer? I had to keep myself from the keyboard on the day that one sold. Beautiful car.

Joe,
No, it's not the Hawaii one - which is a fixed head coupe. And looks very nice!

Nice car, Nick. So pretty, I didn't even look at the roof.
Mine needs lots of love. It's rough, but it's green, and that keeps me going.
