- The VIN plate must be accessible and legible. (It will be photographed and the number must be legible in the photo.)
The car will be photographed, and the inspection procedure will be video recorded. (I assume this is to assure that the inspection is carried out as required.)
The car will be jacked. (It is already supposed to be jacked, but sometimes it isn't. That's no longer an option with the video recorder running.)
Vehicle owner may not be allowed to enter the inspection bay. (Again, this may already be a requirement, but will be enforced more stringently.)
