Hi Sandy - Never seen one in chrome, or with the Lotus badge down there in the corner. Not the most visible place - would it even be visible?

That is not origional Sandy. They were all black painted.

............as it's a relatively rudimentary chrome job, i tend to believe this is original! - this came out of a sprint about 20yrs ago. i added the badge! sandy

But surely that would not have been original for a sprint? Didn't all sprints have the rectangular type like these? (Or at least those with Webers)

you could be right. i just thought so AND maybe (20years ago) the seller at this local parts/car market sold be the real thing for an S3 which i have!?!? sandy

that's also very possible, as the battery bracket is close: was looking at a mkI cortina yesterday afternoon! sj
