Shed and Buried. TV program

There was a program on ITV4 today called "Shed & Buried", yet another of these find an old wreck and renovate it type programs.
The Info blurb says that among other things they view the "first ever Lotus Elan". That bit must occur near the beginning of the program, because I missed it, then dang me I also missed it on the ITV4+1 repeat, catching just a brief glimps of a red Elan.
It's due to be repeated again in the early hours of Saturday morning on ITV4 if anyone wants to try see the program.

I too switched on late and saw tha last few seonds of the "first ever Elan" it was very very brief but the leading edge of the front wing looked like a Plus 2.
I actually quite like this program, a lot less bull**** than the others and they dont try to hide how much time or money has been spent although this one had the usual "got to be done in X weeks" obligatory artificial TV time pressure.

See https://www.itv.com/itvplayer/shed-and- ... /episode-6 available for viewing another few days only.
Well, first thing, it is a +2 Elan, not an Elan.
Secondly, there is no proof it is 50/0001 that I can see. But in June last year LPW120E was for sale, a red +2. It noted "Having been lost for some 24 years it was recently discovered and will require full restoration".

Sigh. The "Elan number 1" yakitty yak is clearly TV BullSh*t.
As said above, it is a Red Plus 2. No visible Licence number or Vin Plate. The camcover is black, if that is of any dating interest.
Found in a Barn...
Oh yeah.
