this here plunger caused some head-scratching: i have 3 of ?em, so as this one was WAY TO LONG,
i was just about to shorten it (the chain was too short, of course) when my buddy kurt asks me if I hand
another one and i did, so much to our surprise it solved all of the problems immediately. were these made
for the 711M chains?? 36/4982 ------ btw: my wifes? caliper!!

thanks greg - i am as a matter of fact mentioning the 711M block which I sold. it did need
the longer chain but why the longer plunger - if you'd draw it up, you'd see why I would
think one link less would've also been the answer?? whatever; we were cussing for a few minutes!
