You won't see pump water leaks if the drain hole under the pump pulley is bunged up.

Thanks again to everyone for the sage advice. I was able to get a good look with the radiator removed, and the hub rocks visibly back and forth. The rebuild kit has arrived from r.d. enterprises, ltd. and seems to be good quality. Now on to disassembly and replacement. Well, at least this should be a good opportunity to deal with some chronic oil leaks.

Hi Jay,
best to be safe than very sorry
I suggest you have a good read on past posts about how to change the Module. So you don't put pressure on the new Bearing when pressing into place
