Sandy's Farndon post seems to have brought out the crankshaft anoraks. I am hoping the same group might have some recollections on when and where this bottom end was sourced.

Forged 4 counter weight crank with ford reminiscent part numbers 75547 ?42S154 , ditto the steel rods 105/118C -

Anyone out there recall these parts back in the day ?

Regards,

George

The crank is reminiscent of a Laystall crank but if it's Laystall it should have it written somewhere (most likely hiding!).

The rods should be Cosworth with those 105/118 numbers. Should be approx 0.020" longer than standard Lotus rods.

Hi Promotor - I am inclined to agree with you based on what I saw online being represented as cosworth/laystal cranks

Thank you for the reply.
