After a few years of inactivity, I have come to the conclusion that my restoration of VIN: 0014K will not be completed, and it is better to sell, and have someone complete the project, than to never finish at all !!!!! Of course I have all documentation and receipts ! I am located about 60 miles west of Detroit Michigan.
Body: The body was completely gone through, stress cracks repaired, gel coat and then Sikkens epoxy in Porsche guards red. Now some of the body work / crazing has come through, All new wire harnesses (not installed)
Chassis: Rust free and straight !!!! all bushings in suspension are replaced, chassis has been gusseted for additional strength. Rack has been restored and tie rod ends are new. Ball joints are new and the trunnions are also new. New Koni shocks. Front and rear wheel bearings are new. Chassis and suspension components were stripped and the coated with epoxy primer followed by Sikkens epoxy black.
Engine: Big valve weber head conversion on the original 1600 engine. Reground cams to big valve spec, new cam bearings, valve guides and valves.Fresh valve job. Block bored .010 with new pistons, rings rod and main bearings, crank turned to .010 / .010. New clutch assembly including master and slave cylinders. New reman starter and generator. New headers.
Brakes: A calipers have been rebuilt, new pads including parking brake. All discs are refinished and within specs.
Master cylinder is new, and all brake lines have been replaced.
Interior: New carpet set, all rocker switches are new, windows have new winders (wire ropes),
There is much, much more, but maybe it is better for potential buyers to ask questions ??? Asking $16,500 us dollars.

pictures would help.
sounds like you've got 90% done, why not finish? you've come so far and are almost there!!!
very good price, if not under priced, unless it's more apart (basketcase) than together.
