I wouldn't have needed a pump if the " builders" had followed my instructions with the visqueen , I later had to dig out a pump sump.....that's when the building inspector nearly closed the road and evacuated the street due to methane build-up.....that's when I had to install a gas scavenging system...

So... I think it is definitely wind noise. I opened the window @ 70 MPH and the sound from the opening was exactly the same.
