One of the very earliest Plus 2S 130 Elans, this one has a 710000 VIN and a forward facing cam cover

Purple LO21. Sometimes called Roman Purple, but officially just plain Purple. Photos of a colour against the bonnet badge give a colour reference.

Wonderful that Albert bought along Ronnie's Plus 2; here is the letter he displayed with the car

Interesting, never really compared Peco's before but this one is different to mine, the rear hanger is pointing upwards whereas mine sticks out to the side. Upwards makes more sense I must say.

Thanks Tim

I modified it. Also cut off and rewelded the pipe to the box (in situ) to get a proper fit otherwise it hangs too low and not sleeping policeman friendly especially if you have two in the back.

Yes they do hang rather low, never understood why the pipe is at the angle it is. I had another driver stick his head out of the window the other day suggesting I check my exhaust for this very reason!

Well done on a good mod!
