Beautiful work !
I have complete braided brake lines, too - direct from the unions to the calipers. However I followed the original routing which does leave them less exposed:
Similar for the front - held in place by rubber-lined P-clips.

Most forest rally cars use braided brake lines that in one event will be exposed to far more flying rocks, stones etc than a road car will in several lifetimes. Brake failure due to brake line damage is quite rare. The reason braided lines are used is that they are extremely resistant to wear & damage from flying objects, not because they look good.

In my recent outing competing at the Sandown Historic races in my Elan there was a very load clang from the rear during the race. Nothing seemed to happen to the handling so I continued on. After the race I checked the rear suspension and found a very large indentation on the leading side of the A frame front tube where a stone / rock had been thrown up from the front wheels. The indentation was the like the tube had been hit very hard with a ball peen hammer. Even a braided brake line would have been crushed and potentially cut by the impact.
I would route the brake lines via the original locations or at least put on the back side of the suspension
